Technical requirements of the configurator

On which end devices can I carry out the configuration online?

Most suitable are a desktop or laptop, on a tablet the configuration is also possible, not recommended is the smartphone.

 

Which browser can I use?

We recommend using Google Chrome.

 

Why can't I use the configurator on my smartphone?

Due to the variety of phones and operating systems, some menu functions may not work. For this reason, we recommend that you use the configurator on your desktop or tablet.

 

Registration

What are the advantages of registration?

When you register, your configurations (projects) are saved and you can access them again. As a guest the configuration is not saved.

 

What restrictions do I have with guest registration?

With a guest registration you can only perform the configuration and download the data, your configuration is not saved. To order, you must be registered, no orders can be made via the guest login.

 

Use of the configurator

What is the best way to configure?

Ideally, you should start at step 1 (Basic settings) and work your way through to step 7 (Accessories). In the individual menus you work from top to bottom. However, this procedure is not mandatory, it is possible to jump directly into each menu.

 

Can I interrupt my configuration and continue at a later stage?

Yes, but you must register to do so, otherwise your configuration (project) will not be saved.

 

How can I export the data?

In the download you can create and download a summary of the configuration and drawings (2D+3D). During a download your project will be saved automatically if you are logged in. The project cannot be changed afterwards.

 

Why does the configurator show "On request" for the price?

In this case, the components used have not yet recorded a price. Please send us the configuration via "Request for quote" and you will receive the desired quotation from us.

 

How can I order my configured valve?

First you have to add the configuration into the cart, then all documents will be generated, this can take a few minutes. Then press "Done" and then "Cart" to enter into the web shop.

 

Scope of products

What scope does the configurator offer me?

At present we offer the possibility to configure individual ball valves including automation. We are working on extending the configurator with further valves such as butterfly valves. 

 

What materials is the ball valve made of?

As standard, the ball valve is made of stainless steel 1.4404 and the sealing system is PTFE GLASS (2 seat rings). However, various materials can be selected. The configurator suggests the materials automatically when the pressure and temperature data are entered.

 

Which connection types are available?

The ball valve has flange connections as standard. However, various connections such as other flange forms, threads, welding ends, etc. can be selected.

How secure is online payment?

We place the highest value on your security when making payments. Your data will of course only be transmitted in encrypted form, so that third parties cannot read them. Your credit card payment is processed by a specially security-certified partner.

 

In which way can I pay?

1. prepayment: You transfer the invoice amount due - the account details can be found in our order confirmation, which you will receive by e-mail from us directly after sending your order. Please make sure that the details are complete and correct so that we can allocate your transfer safely and your order will reach you quickly. As soon as the invoice amount is completely on our account, we can process your order.

2. credit card: The easiest way of payment - we accept Visa and Mastercard. The shop does not store your credit card data.

 

Is there a minimum amount for my order?

No, but the limit depends on your credit card limit. If the payment with the card is not possible anymore, you can choose prepayment.

 

What are the shipping costs?

There are no shipping costs in Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein. Deliveries to countries of the European Union up to an order value of CHF 5'000 are charged at a flat rate of CHF 150 per delivery. If the order value is over CHF 5'000, it is 3% of the order value.

 

Can I cancel my order?

In principle, orders cannot be cancelled, as the valves are manufactured according to your configuration. In individual cases a cancellation can be checked, please contact us for this.

 

Can I return my goods?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to return valves that have been ordered incorrectly. In individual cases a return can be checked, please contact us for this.
